Hunkpati Oyate

Dedicated to the Oyate

"Tokȟá ȟé iyéhičiyape lo! (Hello and welcome, our people!)

On behalf of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe, we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to our Oyate, our extended family. We are deeply honored to have you here with us as we gather to strengthen our community, celebrate our heritage, and chart a path to a brighter future together.

Our ancestors have passed down to us a rich and resilient cultural heritage, and it is our sacred duty to preserve and protect it. As your President and Council, we are committed to working tirelessly to uphold the values of our Lakota traditions, ensuring they continue to flourish for generations to come.

We are here to serve you, to listen to your needs and aspirations, and to provide support and guidance in every way we can. Our goal is to create a thriving community where every member of the Oyate has access to the resources, services, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Together, we can overcome challenges, celebrate our achievements, and forge a path of unity and prosperity for our people. We encourage you to explore the programs and services offered by the Tribe, engage in our cultural events, and be an active part of our growing community.

With your involvement, support, and dedication, we are confident that the future of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe will be as bright as the morning sun on our beautiful lands.

WóiyayAkelA (Thank you), and welcome to the journey ahead.
